Immigration agents detained a pregnant mother Tuesday morning at a California elementary school. The woman's frightened 6-year-old daughter was told to go to class as her mother was led away for questioning. Tuesday afternoon after school, dozens of parents, teachers and students came together to decry the event. "This is supposed to be a safe place," Noemi Contreras, whose children attend the nearby middle school said. "They are scaring people with everything that is happening." In the last month three parents have been detained or placed in detention.
